The start

On my last day at my previous job, a colleague flippantly said "start a blog". That was a month ago and with no concrete job offers on the horizon, the blog starts now.

Call it a bit of journey I'm on right now that as a highly qualified ( Masters Degree in Journalism & Grad Diploma in Info Management), consistently employed young woman I find myself in my early thirties at a crossroads in my career and life.

So this is essentially a public diary, of figuring out this thing called life, starting over when the path you were on in your 20s completely falls apart in your 30s. If this blogs is helpful for those of you in a similar situation, wonderful. Alternatively if my trials and tribulations prove to make you feel better about your own life and to muse "hey, things could be worse," then fine, glad to be your downward social comparison source.

What to expect from this blog? Fuck knows, and that's kind of the point. So, let's crack on.
